    im having a problem reinstalling the game. at about 40% complete of the install a window appears saying the following:
    component transfer error
    component: game1
    file group: game1 files
    file: e:\gamedata\base\assests0.pk3
    error: data error(cyclic redundancy check).

    could this be my new firewall making this error or the game disc its self?
    plz help.

    I don't know what kind of torrent program you use, but with uTorrent it actually shows you what the fuck you're downloading before you do so. With that and a little computer knowledge it's pretty hard to get a virus. I torrent shit like music, games, and movies constantly and I have yet to get a virus.

    Vuze, which is undoubtedly a win, isn't spammed by fucking ads and viruses. It's clean, the UI is the simplest and organized. What the fuck are you using??? that is possibly ANY better?? what? tell me/

    utorrent... the most lightweight simplest/best torrent program out there its not filled with a buncha shit that doesnt need to be there... they should just stuck with old school azureus that was still useful... Vuze is just a buttload of useless crap... i dare u to install both and compare the proc/ram usage of both... utorrent will win EVERY time...

    uTorrent gets spammed with ads? Since when?

    I admit I've never even heard of Vuze, so I can't claim that uTorrent is better. uTorrent definitely does NOT suck though.

    Even tho u wil never catch me torrenting, uTorrent would def be my choice. I've used both programs, Vuze is crap. nuff said IntrEZ you win nothing
